Convert Your Weber Kettle into an Offset Smoker in 4 Easy Steps
1. Setup the Zones
Place theSmoke and Sizzleon one side of the kettle. Add charcoal and wood chunks on the opposite side for smoking.
2. Ignite the Charcoal
Light a few charcoal briquettes and place them on one side, or ignite them directly in the kettle using a fire starter.
3. Add Water (Optional)
Pour water into the Smoke and Sizzleto create moisture and help stabilize the temperature.
4. Position the Meat
Once the smoker reaches the desired temperature and you see clean smoke, place the meat on the grate above the Smoke and Sizzle (opposite the charcoal). Close the lid, positioning the vent over the meat to help control airflow and maintain steady cooking temperatures.

The Smoke and Sizzle is an absolute joy to use with my Jumbo Joe! So far, I've done baby back ribs, pork tenderloins, beer brats, split chicken breasts and reverse seared rib eye steaks. Everything has turned out amazing and so dang delicious! I've rarely use my gas grill, except for quick cooks. Keeps my JJ clean and the Smoke and Sizzle is a snap to clean. I can't tell you how much we love this thing! One happy grillin' gal!
This is a decent unit, but at $65, it is overpriced. I found another brand on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK38W9DD...) for $26 and the design and construction are just as good. BTW, the Flametech Smoke and Sizzle is made in China. I would have expected better for the price.
The product itself wasn’t bad but the person/owner was a bit rude and jumped to conclusions thinking I wanted something free after paying for 2 items. Definitely felt offended but perhaps it was a misunderstanding. Won’t buy from them again just based off that.
